Mead lodging

Post by Smitty »

Has anyone ever stayed at the best western lighthouse inn in boulder city? They said parking wouldnt be a problem and i can run power from the room. Just checking if anyone has stayed there to confirm.

I have never stayed there, but its a pretty good city, tons of cops, and your close to the lake. Just do the speed limit in boulder city, and stop for people in the cross walk. just to let you know about the area.

Thanks Mike, good idea. I havent done the hotel thing for a tournament in the last two years but around the mead area, camp grounds are brutal about removing your camper or in fact even having a camper in the first place. Thanks again

Im with Mike regurading the prop lock, its a must. If I were you I d get a slide lock and a hich lock also. The latest thing for theft is to just pull the pin on the hitch and back the boat on the trailer out and slide the whole hitch into the waiting truck and off they go. I have heard of several of these happening in the last year. A word to the wise.

Thanks Stan. Got the hitch lock, loc r bar on the way, and will aquire the prop lock on the way down south. Reminds me of oroville in years past with meth heads trying to sell boat covers back to the owner! I think a wheel lock on the trailer would be a good idea as well.
