Mike Long, fishing alone, outlasted the balance of the field Saturday at Lake El Capitan with a 5 fish limit anchored by a 6.31 lunker that weighed in at 26.23 lbs. Mike says he when through 14 Huddleston's and than depended on Ikas and drops shot fish to round out his limit. For Saturday's effort Mike picked up $3,420.
Second place went to Klayton Belden and Bobby Matthews with a five fish limit that went 17.73 lbs anchored by a nice 5.35 pounder. Second place this day was work $1,210.
Third went to Ken Kruck and Mychael Turner with a limit that weighed 16.63. Third place paid $725
