can anyone help me guide me to take the motor apart. i was tightening the propellor down, and suddenly felt it slip like something in the motor broke? the problem im getting is that the motor spins n propellor spins but rite when it touches the water the propellor stops but motor still spin?

Remove the prop and you will see two bolts. They are about 10" long and thread into the back of the motor. Remove those bolts and you can pull the motor apart. Pretty easy to take apart and assemble back together if your somewhat mechanically inclined.
Check your shear pin in the prop and make sure its still good before you go pulling the thing apart.

Before you take the motor apart it sounds like you sheard a prop pin. If you do take the motor apart make sure you replace the o rings on the through bolts and the seals. If you haven't taken a motor apart before I don't recommend it. You will also need a inch pound torque wrench to seal the motor.
