MUST READ-Motherlode Bass Elite Announcement

Post by Bruce Theriot »

Posting this for Robert Mansor:
In an attempt to bring you guys " what you are saying you want": we are doing some changes w/our circut...
first of all, our next event is scheduled for Jan. 18th, 2014 at Melones...here is where the changes start.. we will not be going to Melones!! We are switching the event to Don Pedro.. in addition: our base entry is now going to be $180... there will be a $20 biggest bass option and "THAT IS IT"! "ALL IN $200... we will be paying back 1-in-5 @ a pure 90% payback...all the money that has been held back from our first "2" events, plus all memberships(approx. $1300 so far) plus all held back money from events to come will be divided up @ the last event; between the top "3" teams that fished all "7" events...

I have spent the last 2 days talking to many fishermen about these changes and it seems to be what everyone wants...! I still need to verify everything with DFG but this is the new proposed schedule:
Jan. 18th 2014 @ Don Pedro
Feb. 22nd @ McClure
March 1 @ Tulloch
April 19th @ McClure
May 21st @ Don Pedro
"NO TACOS, NO POINTS, NO T.O.C., NO B.S." So come out on Jan. 18th and support us and lets make fishing fun again!!! Also a third person may fish in the boat as long as they are under "16" years of age... any questions, contact Robert Mansor at 209-852-2678.

This is unbelievable. You are dropping the two tournaments at the best lake in the Motherlode where it took almost 20lbs to get a check and over 40lbs too win last year? You never asked anyone that I know in Toulumne County, the Motherlode, what they wanted. Why on earth would you drop 2 Melones and add Tulloch? You just lost about a dozen people from the Sonora and Angels Camp area that I know of. What ever happened to the saying , don't try to fix it if it aint broke? Drive through the parking lots of all the lakes and you will see that Melones is the favorite lake of them all. I know how hard you work on your tournaments and I wish you the best.
