Need Brakes

Any mechanics or board sponsors that can help? According to Goodyear, I need new front pads, rotors and change brake fluid. 2005 GMC sierra 1500 4x4. I don't know anything about cars. They quoted me 540.61. Is that a fair price?

price sounds about normal for this amount of work. I do this for a living and believe me, it would be more at a dealership. I would ask them to give you rotor measurements. Where they are and what is the minimum thickness. They may be able to be resurfaced if they are not too close to minimum thickness. Hope this helps.
