New Arizona record Striper

A new inland record striped bass weighing 27.28 pounds and measuring 42 1/4 inches was caught at night at Lake Pleasant near the 1702 sign in 100 feet of water on a water dog.

Nice fish!! I'm suprised that the record didn't come out of Lake Havasu, as upstream in Mojave & Mead there are some MONSTERS!! :shock: :shock: Nice fish though!!! 8) 8)

This is the new "inland" record the CO river lakes are different and I believe that record is 67 pounds currently. Its a great fish for inland lakes here in the heat.

Thats is a huge striper for pleasant. It wouldnt supprise me if that fish was a left over from the old lake.

It most likely one of the first to come in right after the new dam was built but I don't think there were any in the old lake. They stripers started living in the lake from the CAP water.
