The National Weather Service has indicated that from Thursday thru Sunday, blizzard conditions will prevail in the Sierra and foothills regions of northern California (around New Melones Lake), and have officially added a "Blizzard" warning tag to the approaching storm. (PLEASE READ the attached report for details).
In light of this information from the National Weather Service and other weather reporting agencies, we believe it best - in the interest of angler safety, that this event be postponed for a later date - at New Melones.
We apologize for any inconvience this may cause, but everyone's safety must always be our main concern.
