The vessel, named the Skipper, was carrying Venezuelan crude, the official said. The tanker had been previously associated with Iranian oil, and a federal judge issued a warrant for its seizure because of those links.

Permission to hijack a ship and its crew?!! There is no international law saying any country has the right to piracy regardless of links. We are not at war with Iran or any country at present and eventually it will cost American lives directly or indirectly.

If a U.S. cruise ship is attacked and taken over, who's to say that it wasn't based on, well, the U.S. did it so it must be okay. If anyone on board the tanker was killed protecting the boat and its cargo, whatever it was, domestic and international outrage would have been front-page news.

So, he says we're keeping the oil. Who is they exactly and who benefits? What about the tanker? Is it getting auctioned off or will it be returned to the country of origin? What was the point of the whole charade, claiming it was helping Iranian terrorists? On who's say so,Trump's?!!!
