Dear Mr. Maynard,

I just wanted to send you a letter, commending your entire staff. They did an outstanding job. So often in today’s world customer service is absent.
I should know, I have owned many businesses. I make customer service…well lets just say; “If you don’t take care of the customer…someone else will.â€

Discount tire is awesome....used them for my wheels/tires on my old Tacoma, and most recently for the 20's on my GMC. Always professional, always a good deal whether in person or on the phone....

On a recent trip to Phoenix I had a problem with the stock Firestones on my pickup. Even tho the tires were still under warranty, my past experience with Discount/Americas Tire compelled me to return there. The store mgr spent 15-20 minutes trying to get Firestone to let him warranty my tires. (Discount doesn't carry Firestones but they have a working agreement with most brands) No luck. Anyway, I preferred to do business with Discount even tho in the long run it ended up costing me more than a trip to Firestone would have. ONLY outstanding service would make me do that. They are good!

I agree they have great service. I have been at several of the stores and always have been taken care of. It's nice to know as travelling anglers we have a place to go when we have tire problems.

Thanks for sharing the letter.

Just and FYI...

Discount Tires is Americas Tire Co. in California. Discount Tire/America's Tire

I have been using them for several years and their customer service has been excellent. Whenever I am gearing up to travel, I swing by and they make sure all of my tires (even the ones I didn't purchase from them) are correctly inflated and in good shape. When I had them replace one of my trailer tires, they said come back in 5,000 miles and they would rotate my trailor and my truck tires for free. They definately have EARNED all my future business!!

And BTW, they had the best price I could find in the Chico area for my trailer tires too! They did have to order them, but they got them in the next day and called me a soon as they were delivered to their shop. I was out the door an hour later...and I live almost a half hour away :)

Ditto....when I was out of town

my wife had a tread separation on a tire. It didn't blow out but was making a terrible noise. When she called me on my cell phone, I called America's tire company in Orangevale where I bought the last set of tires for my truck. It was 10 minutes before they closed on a Friday. The manager said for her to come right down. He let his people go home but he waited for her and personally replaced her tire. The best part was his great attitude. She said he was pleasant and offered to do additional service like rotating her tires at no charge. (She's pretty cute for an old broad so maybe "rotating her tires" meant something else? But, I don't think so.) That kind of old school customer service has made me a loyal customer.
