Optimax Oil in the San Jose area

I've had been having trouble locating Optimax oil in the south bay area, and stumbled into Cope & McPhetres marine service in Santa Clara today, and they had it.

I asked if they sold it in bulk, and the guy said they would be willing to if there was enough interest. He said that it was a slow seller, and I commented that maybe no one knew they carried it....I sure didn't, and I live in SC!

So, in my own self interest, because I would like to be able to buy it in bulk locally, I offered to see how much interest there would be in this area

SO, if you think is something you'd like to see, post here and I'll pass it on to them, or you could just call em and see if that generates some interest in getting a 55 Gallon drum we can all draw from! Win-Win for us!

Me 2, I live in SC and have been buying my optimax oil mostly there every year. I only live a few blocks away.They have moved the parts/sales dept in the back now. Its behind the budget car rental, pull in the same driveway way in the back. You could also try West Marine on Saratoga ave between Stevens creek blvd and Kiely ave across the street from Harrys Hofbrau. Then just down the street is boaters world on Stevens Creek before Winchester Blvd.
