Original poster Non Payment by Tournament Director
As the original poster for the Tournament Non payment, I went to bed last nite, and this morning see the post removed. Not sure where the convo went after that. But understand how some can take it in a bad direction. Shinning a light on the darkness of this sport helps those new Teams and competitors to be selective in the organizations they support. A bad first experience could discourage them from competing and stunt the growth for the industry. If we love this sport we must..... ALL.... do what we can to protect it. Any of those who lost a perspective to this last nite, must raise their game and see a bigger picture once in awhile. New blood is the future. They are the one targeted. Future Pro Tour..... GET IT? This is the front line. Keep them safe till they get their feet wet in this sport. When they get cheated, we all get cheated...... Time for Vince to change. Thats it. The status quo Is no longer acceptable.

I agree with you completely, although I did not read last nights post.
We as tournament anglers have to stop supporting Tournaments like these and TD like these.
Don’t know what direction it went but I’m not in favor of deleting post but understand when someone locks it down.

Re: Original poster Non Payment by Tournament Director
Just an observation I’ve noticed with social media websites over the years. The site monitors usually do not allow too much bashing among their paying advertisers/sponsors
Along with the fact that there is no proof posted ... I’m not saying it didn’t happen and most likely It did and has and might even continue but without proof it’s all hearsay anybody can jump on a website and make accusations against people several guys can do it I don’t necessarily mean that it’s true
The Internet is a funny place lots of damage can be done with a touch of a button.
I really hope you get your money I also hope you give us a follow up when you do .. Sorry you’re going through all this I’d probably be doing the same thing

We went through this topic for several days.
It was already explained why it was removed.
We are sorry for those that don't agree why it was removed but think of it this way. If someone came to your business or your house (if you don't have a business) and spraypainted offensive language and threats on your wall. Would you leave it (incase others want to see it) or would you remove it.
WesternBass is a place to learn and talk and share about fishing.
In fishing as in life, there will always be times when things go wrongs and those get talked about and worked out or not.
When namecalling, threats and language come into the picture that is not talking about things going wrong. That is a whole other level and will not be tolerated.
Yes we have helped try and work out situations with site sponsors. We have direct contacts with those companies, that support us so we can usually get to the right people. Our readers also support us and we typically have a way to contact them, so we can get to them as well. So when we can, we try and help get things on track, which leaves more time for fun on the water. That is our goal here.
If companies are not our sponsors, we don't have that direct connection and cannot do the same thing. It is like when Kent has helped out with boat issues for Bass Pro. He did that because he has that connection. He cannot do the same thing for BassCat or Vexus because he does not have that ability to do so.
It is the same with WB. We try to help out when we can. But that doesn't mean we would allow the language and threats to be tolerated if it were directed to a non-sponsor.
With that being said, we are locking this up before the topic goes sideways like last night and we have to MOVE it instead of LOCK it.
WE thank you all (sponsors and readers alike) for the support of WesternBass and hope we can all channel our energies to catching fish. Good luck on the water
