This is the first time that I have posted in the political forum, but I was TOTALLY elated to see McCain pick a individual that has guts to standup against the statis cwooooo....whatever I like her. A Gun tot'en gal that isn't afraid to standup for what is right.

I pity Biden, Edwards, any of the demo's that have taken monies from the lobbiest, special interest, Pork barrel bills etc. I would like to see her also go against Boxer, Fienstein, Pelousi, any of the higher profile Senators that think their hidden.

For Jesse Jackson, and that other Civil Rights free loader, I would bet that they disappear off the face of the earth if she gets elected to office.

Change, this is it for what I can see so far. Like O'Reily said this is going to be the best "Election for Presidence" that I have ever witnessed.

I would like to see, but probably not right off, is to see if any other Governors, smaller political figures all of a sudden gain the balls that she has and go after the crooked polititions.

But seriously folks. The Democrats are after Independents not Republicans. I think independents will see this Vice presidential choice as a blatant politically motivated move rather than one meant to be best for the country and be repulsed by it.

She one tough cookie . Real ballsy move by Mccain. Great move.I hope it pays off . Speak of politically done moves...thats all I hear in O's speaches.."4 more years," etc..etc. Making the stadium look like they did was no coincidence ,tried the shock and awe approach ,honestly..looked more like smoke and mirrors to me . Fact of the matter ,this election ,counting the primaries prove to me ,America will forever be motivated by greed , promise of impending wealth by those that use the carrot in yo face trick ,and by race . I know ,and maybe you know...these two pres contendors are not the best that this country has to offer . Biden ,although I think he is a pompus Ted Kennedy(My opinion) wannabe ,Obama cant hold his coffee cup when it comes to qualifications to become the most powerful one man on the planet. If O was pushing himself as caucasion,(what he about one tenth african american, but it gets more support than listing arab american-the truth )he would have been done in by Feb. I dont care about what a person looks like...heck..a few here know me..leading actor material Im not,lol .What matters to myself is what a person presents himself as . I rather have my dr tell me...well ,medicine, its going to hurt..work,theropy ,and time will help you ,rather than sign here and I will make it all better .Messiah....Im not buying it. Back to his pick....she has went for more throats of corruption than anyone I have heard of...talk about change...ohh this startin to get good.

Thanks Marty, and thanks for the PM Greg. Martys way seems a little easier so I will try that first, but thanks to both of you.

McCain is getting up there in years 74, with a not so good health history

I think most will agree with that statement :?:

IMHO , From watching him giving speeches and the way he has been tottering around on stage etc, I seriously doubt if he will make all four, if he is elected. With out some medical time in Hospitals or whatever !!

So, Who will run this country if anything happens to him if he is elected. You know who !!

The question is , which would you want doing the job for what ever would be left of his term ? A gal from Alaska who is admittedly "HOT"

Started her political career bout four years ago as a member of the PTA. And took on politics for a state with less population than San Francisco ?

Is this really about some gal who has nice T's & A's and is a member of the NRA, And McCain gets the votes from the soccer moms that supported Hillary.

Remember, Its all about getting the vote, no matter from who or were !

I would rather have and honest PTA mom from Alaska than a black man groomed for the office by having almost zero experience or provable record. I doubt that she took a half price deal on a 4 million dollar mansion from a convicted felon. I bet you she would get more fear and respect from Putin than either Obama or Biden. He is ex KGB and has a lot of experience spotting BS and weak enemies.

Go ahead and say it. There is no way an unknown white person with zero credentials would ever be considered for the POTUS. The only real change that is involved is that Obama would be the first black President in our history. I would gladly vote for a black President if the man or woman had at least a bit of experience and a decent record. He does not and to deny what I am stating is naive on your part.

not quite sure of your point, but I guess if you think someone who is under investigation for corruption is the right choice for your party, good luck with that.

Authenticity.....

Post by StockOption »

Newt is so right with this mail. Been so long since either party marched out a "real" person we've all forgotten what one looks and sounds like:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/weblogs/T ... _power.asp

There is something unaffected and "unsophisticated" (in the Columbia, Princeton, Harvard and University of Chicago meanings of the word) about Governor Palin. She really was point guard of a state championship basketball team. She really is a competent hunter. She is a hockey mom. She has one son about to go to Iraq.

She has 13 years in elected office

By any practical standard she has done far more in the real world with much more spontaneity and practicality than Barack Obama. And there is something deeply real and courageous about John McCain ignoring most of his advisers and all of the "insider wisdom" to reach out to a younger woman whose greatest characteristic is undaunted courage and a willingness to clean out the corruption in her own party.

This was good too:
http://www.cnbc.com/id/15840232?video=836304396&play=1

Lastly, if you haven't yet, listen to her speech from yesterday. She made two pointed, personal references to 9/11 and she said not a word to denigrate either of her opponnets. Contrast that with "good ole boy network" leader Biden who took literally minutes to eviscerate his colleague McCain when he first spoke after being picked.

And Obama's big speech was a piece of work. I heard every last word. Rife with outright lies and distortions.

Authenticity. Brilliant.

80% of the people of Alaska might know better about that HUGE corruption scandal where she canned the head of the state troopers. She wanted her ex B-I-L canned as a trooper for tasing his stepson and being caught drunk in his patrol car on duty. Sounds similar to Obama taking huge financial kickbacks from a convicted felon. You kool-aid drinkers should go look at the Hillary Clinton website forum to get a feel for how you are doing. Those women are going to work for and contribute to McCain/Palin in spite of the pro-choice issue! It is fantastic reading and you will understand what a huge error Obama made in selecting Biden over Clinton. Either way it is going to be a fun one to watch.

Come on Guy... he is not that old. 72 may be the oldest first term president, but look at his mother, she's still around.

BTW, I thought that he had some injuries that accounted for his strange walk. Also BTW, whats wrong with his jowls. The man has a lop sided face with a slight protrusion on his left side. Whats up with that. I am not slamming him at all, I am 100% behind him and Palin, I am just curious about his face.

Anyone?

I know his arm and hand issues were from the crash. Don't know about his ugly face but he made up for that with his VP selection. You have got to go to www.hillaryclintonforum.net and poke around the most recent discussions. Obama thought he could dump the Clintons and still get 95% of her 18 MILLION voters. I would never believe that pro-choice women would say they are going to volunteer and work for a pro-life republican but they are doing just that.

Now we see into the heart of you ? what card will you play next ?

How much experience did Kennedy , Regan, Roosevelt, Lincoln Have ?

Being a Bull Dog for less than two years is not experience in my book, Just politics.

But to try to convince or even reason with you at this point would take more energy than i am willing to expend.

it's sort of like fishing I guess, we all start out with grand expectations, but as the time wears on, with nothing to show for our effort, except for broken promises and frustration. That we say enough !!

I have been a card caring republican for years. As my family has for well over a 100. Having always felt that I was a compassionate conservative.

Greg, i will cross the road for a injured dog as well as feed a homeless person, but i rather find a way to give him a job, so he can do it for them selfs.

I think that what has been missing from our present administration for a long time, True compassion for fellow man !
For the first time it has made me sad to think of all the wasted life that has been lost in misplaced judgment and blind pride.

Even thought the cause was just and noble. If Obama is willing to finally follow that S.O.B to his cave in Pakistan or Afganistan and drag it out by its heels, then hang it by it's neck in the Hague, bring our troops home.

Guy-when Bill Clinton said Obama was a joke it is exactly what I stated. You can play the race card but you need to look in the mirror and ask if the reflection is an honest one. Obama is all about breaking through the racial barriers of our history and very little about substance. The democrats will now lose an election once again that they should have won. It will be because they tried to orchestrate a candidate of change but showed weakness in their methods by demeaning Hillary and 18 million voters who supported her. Biden is old school corruption just like McCain and every other lifer politician. It will boil down to Obama and Palin for the first time in history. Either win is a breakthrough.

That is exactly right. It makes me sick that most of his support is from people that just want to see a black president. They get all teary-eyed when he speaks. Not because he is the right man to put America on the right path, but because he is black.
Ringer wrote:Go ahead and say it. There is no way an unknown white person with zero credentials would ever be considered for the POTUS.
Again, you are right on.

This is where I lose it. You cant even point out that Barrack is black without some insinuating you are racist. Read Ringers whole statement, not just the "black part". He is saying that he doesn't want an affirmative action president, and I agree 100%.

Just to keep this post on topic... Palin is hot!
