Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
This is being blown way out of proportion. If no one is affected by the rule, then what is the big deal? I know Shaun and Billy are sticks, they have shown it on lakes other than Havasu, in tournaments run by other orgs. Those guys have the big fish dialed in on Havasu right now. I have tons of respect for those guys and know how much time and effort and time goes into prefishing and getting those fish dialed. See you guys in 2 weeks.

Spoken like a true fisherman! Not A Pansy Loser wrote:Reactionary yes, but to what? Reactionary not to actions, but to rumors by haters. Don't know Mr Bailey, but Mr Skinner has done exactly what he said he was going to do. He got a place at Havasu so he could get out everyday and learn to dominate around there. He did exactly the same thing in Yuma. He could catch fish in a bath tub. He is good and he spends the time to be good, and he takes time to do it right.
This is reactionary to whiners, losers, and rumors.
He stated he doesn't do the things the rumor monger haters claim and offered to take a polygraph anyway.
Notice to haters. Why can't you be happy for a young guy who is beating you fair and square by working hard at it?
You can't build yourself up by tearing others down.
AND.... They are good everywhere they fish. I think its pretty rotten of the Petersons and Justin to make a reactionary rule to rumors (mid season no less) without facing off with Mr Skinner and Mr Bailey first. They lent creedence to unfounded rumor. If you have proof then pony up and make a protest at a tournament. Come on.
Petersons and Justin. Think there was a good reason to take this backstab and lend creedence to loser rumor mongers then take Mr Skinner up on his offer to take a polygraph.
Mr Skinner. I applaud you. You did what you said you were going to do. You did it by hard work and dedication. Something that seems to be lacking in many people today. If people took pride in working hard and doing a good job more often this would be a better country than it is today.
Jealous of Mr Skinner? So what. Me too. I am jealous that he has had the nerve to really try and do what so many of us wish we could do. I am jealous of his success, but I won't put him down for it. That's just chicken droppings. I sure as heck won't tell stories about him or read false motivations into anything he does or spread rumors. I don't get to run into him much these days, but when I do see him again, I'll try to be the better man and congratulate him for his success. My jealousy of his success is my problem, it sure as heck shouldn't be his.
Whitaker said don't fish. Ok. I quit. I won't fish a circuit that starts changing the rules mid season anymore, and I sure won't continue to support any organization that lends creedence to rumors against a successful young man by this method instead of finding out the real truth first.
I can donate my money to Mr Skinner and Mr Bailey in person. No need for anybody else to take a cut. LOL.

Theyve never done anything under the new rule in which it states to beat you and its most likley going to continue being that way. Unless YOU put your time on the water and fish. So man up give credit to where its do haters. Nice job Billy and Shaun! keep up the DOMINATION!

Why do people edit their posts. Must be haters coming to their senses..... or do people just not think before they speak? Same story from the same people.

There are many reasons a person might edit their post..I most often do so when I find a typo that I missed prior to posting..

I do it all the time. I find I type much better when it's not in a post for a forum, haha. Then I have to go back and clean up all the typos and I re-post only to find a couple more.mac (Doyle McEwen) wrote:There are many reasons a person might edit their post..I most often do so when I find a typo that I missed prior to posting..

I was a witness to Shaun and Billy catch 3 of their fish in the Jan. 8 tournament. They caught them in probably 15 minutes and left. The following Wed. was a nice calm day. I went to the area they were fishing and there were still some nice fish holding in that area. I know they spend a lot of time on the water. I always see Shaun's truck at the ramp almost every time I go out. Good job guys.

It's sad that everyone on this forum share a love for bass fishing, yet we as fisherman battle each other. Too much hate and jealousy in this sport. Along with the economy it's no wonder why we get such poor turnouts at the tourneys. Who wants to deal with all the bs that's associated with it. Too much of the fun is taken out of it.

Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
Just so you know Paul(littlebailey), I've discussed what I've been hearing with Shawn over PM's and he's been telling me his side of things. So instead of going with my original statements that never had names or what lake or lakes I've heard of things going on that pertained to this rule change I went with "Great rule change".
What I said before I edited my 1st post was; it's wrong if someone was doing this, if they were doing it they should be banned under the sportsmanship rule, I would ask how this rule came about but I already know, I've been hearing about this stuff for a while. The second post was about the AC rule that went further and asked if the rule could include something about guides being in the 14 day no live bait fishing rule so no worm can get though the loop hole. Now I'm balking on that because we all need to make a living but also how does that rule affect them? Anything else you see I'm missing?
First and only person on this forum to put names and places together was Shawn himself, no one else. I would never put any names to accusations and rumors, never have nor never will. With that said I still think if someone is "Seeding area's" they should be banned, sorry but that's how I feel on the subject.

Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
Of course they cheated..They caught fish, I didn't..I know I am a superlative fisherman, just ask me, I'll tell you..I mean I sometimes actually prefish for a day to find fish..I go there on tournamnet day and sometimes they are there, sometimes not..I haven't gotten that part all figured out yet, but I do know I should be catching them..
The above is a parody of just how it seems some people think..Or rather don't think before opening their pie holes..You can always pick who is going to be accused of unfair practices, all you have to do is see who is winning the most often..

Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
To Pansy Loser or whoever you are. This rule did not come from me. This rule change came from the corporate office of Anglers Choice. I received the rule change in an email and posted it on here after I took it off of Anglers Choice's website. The minute I receieved the rule in an email I made a phone call to Billy and Shaun both to make them aware of it. Not that it would hinder there pre-fishing or their ability to catch fish. They accomplish that because of time on the water. Once again NO BODY is being accused of cheating by any of the organizations so there is no need for a polygraph. This is not a drastic rule change either that just came about over night. It has actually been discussed since before Billy and Shaun went on a winning streak. I know I have had anglers that fish both organizations asking questions about live bait fishing since September.

Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
Just to clarify. It had been discussed without using the names Billy Skinner or Shaun Bailey. It was discussed because I had someone ask me prior to the first tournament in September to define "fish" because the rule stated you could not move fish. I called Hutch and asked him for the interpretation of the rule as it was written and he explained it to me what its intent was. As Hutch stated this is simply to close a loop hole. As far as anglers fishing my regions. If ANY of you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me and I will be happy to answer them for you.

So would you guys be willing to chip in more each tournament for the cost of a polygraph?

Re: PLEASE READ.....RULE ADDITION FOR NBW
I figured I had to drop my 2 cents. Im a guy like the baileys and mr. skinner, who in my mid-late 20's and now early 30's is working hard at making a living from our wonderful sport. I haven't had near the tournament success as these 2 but I can truley say that is from lack of time on the water, there dedication to finding the grade of fish to win consistently is truley inspiring. I constantley read posts on this sight about guys hating on how hard it is to make a living from this sport. Has anyone here looked at how hard it is these days to make a living or break into any industry. A college degree gauranties nothing, 20 years in the biz, sorry but ur layed off, good jobs are hard to find these days and great jobs even harder. All I'm saying is don't give the guys dominating our sport such a hard time. This is their JOB. The hours put in from a full time pro, especially someone like myself that also runs a small tackle and rod business far outweighs the typical 9 to 5.
