No pokes, sticks or jabs for 2 weeks on Windy Wednesday Night

Apologies for those of you who read these posts. I didn't stick, jab, penetrate or hook myself. No one ran into my boat at the gas station. Oh yeah, did I mention we didn't find the quality fish we were looking for. Last week absolutely NOTHING eventful happened, hence no post. Instead went to Nevada to practice muscle memory for a week. definitely out of practice. Had a herd of about 20 mares and a stallion come across the range which was pretty cool. (BTW BLM is asking for comments on removal of the wild horses)
OK back to WWN. Again, a good showing. It surprises me how many folks take time off from work to fish these events. (although they are lots of fun). So my partner and I make a long run towards Big Break. I'm excited because our local weather guru said Delta winds won't return until the weekend. About half way down the river, here comes the wind. What? Great. OK we'll deal with that. 5 minutes into fishing, first blow up. Where's the frog? More like where's the fish. It sucked it down, Oh well. Went that way for most of the night. @ small fish on Chatterbait ain't cuttin it. Off to the weigh in.
First time there hasn't been at least 1 ten or close to 10 in awhile.
