Rate off fall(swimbaits)?

I see that the Hud comes in a 5,12 and 16 in rate off fall.Sorry for sounding dumb but is this feet per?I have a couple lakes up here that I know the bass are eating the stocked trout and want to try a Hud on them.Seems we dont't have a great selection of swimbaits up here so I figured I would order one and start trying it.I have see people trout fishing for these little stockers only to have a bass come up and go after their catch.Huddleston seems to be right on with there baits for the price.Thanks and GB...Jim

yes, it's the approximate feet the bait will sink per every 10 seconds.

Thanks guys.I would not have guessed it was every 10 sec though.I have looked at the site quite abit,as a matter of fact I got some of the Hud bugs to try on our smallies this spring,great looking baits.So I am guessing then that in a shallow lake say maybe 15-20 ft I would rather use the 5?Little faster fall in a deeper lake?
