Yuma Pro Am Season Opener for 2007

January 27th is the date of the Yuma Pro Am sign up for the 2007 season opener. It is also the date of the 2006 season awards BBQ.

Yuma Pro Am is a draw team format bass tournament club that pairs boaters (pros) with non-boaters (amateurs) to fish as a team for the day.

The BBQ is open to any member who fished Yuma Pro Am in 2006, and to any new angler who joins and signs up for the 1st tournament of the season in 2007.

The festivities will be at Sportsmen's Hide-A-Way on January 27th 2007. Dinner will be ready about 5:15 and the awards will be announced about 6:15 with a tackle raffle there after.

We will be giving away rods and reels, tackle packs, and a Fish Hedz mask courtesy of Save Phace and their local pro staffer Dave Willhide. There will be a gift certificate for a day on the water with our local Goin' Fishin' Productions Guide dave as well. Each angler will get one raffle ticket for each 2006 Yuma Pro Am event that have attended and , yes the BBQ is an event of the 2006 Season.

As a side note. Since the BBQ is a part of the 2006 season that means that technically anybody who signs up at the BBQ qualifies to be considered a charter memebr having particiapted in a charter season event. The BBQ will be the last opportunity to join and become a charter member of Yuma Pro Am.

Charter Members will get a charter member cap that they can save or wear. Additonal Charter Members caps are available for $10 to any charter member, but when they are gone they are gone. Many anglers already have received their charter member caps so don't be surprised if you see somebody wearing one. If you have not gotten yours let me know at the BBQ.

After the awards and raffle are finished we will draw for partners for the tournament launching out of Fisher's Landing on Sunday morning the 28th of January.

Sign up and draw for the tournaments will be at Sportsmen's Hide-A-Way on Saturday the day before the tournament. Official sign up will start at 5:15 and the draw for partners will be at 6:15. If you can not make it to the draw call me (Bob)
at (928)580-1270 the day of the sign up and I will put your name in the draw for you.

All anglers will have to sign a liability and membership form for the 2007 season before they can fish in any Yuma Pro Am events.
