Everyone fishing 100% DVL needs to read this!

Post by Brian Linehan »

Hey guys, Jeff @ DVL contacted me today and informed me that the gate will be opened for our 100% BASS tournament this Saturday at 5:45 instead of the usual 6:30. if any of you have been to the lake in the last week, you would know that the lake is requiring everyone to fill out a Zebra mussel questionaire before they launch. Jeff is allowing us to park in the parking lot at 5:45 so we can all fill out the forms early instead of waiting until 6:30 for the gate to open and then having to fill out the questionaire. We all owe Jeff a HUGE thank you for helping us out. If you see him, thank him!

Also, sign ups will be from 4:00 to 5:30. Because the general public will be allowed in the gate with us @ 5:45, do yourself a favor and don't get there late. As soon as a majority of the guys are in the water ready to blast off, I'm going to start.

Once ion the gate, I'll do a brief rules meeting in the parking lot while my staff will be doing livewell checks.

We are not allowed to launch until the lake opens @ 6:30, but we will still get out earlier than ever before. If you have any questions, send me a PM or call me. See you Saturday.

Awesome Bri. Jeff sounds like he's trying to help. Can't wait for Saturday. It sure seems like everyone is going to be there.

Thanks Brian for continuing the dialogue with DVL to get us all the best situation. Filling out a survey is a good trade for that extra time to get set up and lauched ahead of the public.

Good job Brian.

Good luck at DVL.

Yikes, didn't see that date. The day after the UFC ppv and Super Bowl Sunday. I'm going to mount the plasma on the bow of the boat. Oh wait, I already have the Lowrance LCX-111. :D

Can I follow you around and watch? ha ha

Should be a good PPV. Then the following weekend is Shamrock vs Gracie.

Those two families hate each other.

Brian, if our practice for Flw didn't start Saturday over here I would come over and fish your event. Anyway best of luck with your tournament, I know you will be a big hit with your anglers. Don't forget to let me know when you move in, remember I have something for you....Mike G

Best of luck to you Mike!!! I'm looking forward to watching the weigh-ins live on the internet.

How about that Rashad Evans knock out last night? That was highlight reel quality. I thought Heath Herring looked rusty, but O'Brien didn't do sh#t. Can't wait to watch Crocop and Rampage next weekend.

Best of luck again Mike. Make all of the naysayers who think that a local can't win eat their words!
