Yes I have used the castiac and they will catch fish, but if you want a great swimbait that is reasonably priced and flat out catches fish get some River to Sea Bottom Walkers!!! :D :D :D

I caught my biggest swimbait fish on a Castaic. Make sure you look over the bait before you buy it as the build quality is not what other baits are, but then you get what you pay for.

If you like the looks and the action of the Hudds, but want something a little cheaper on the wallet, then go with the Reaction Strike Bass Harasser. All the good trout colors, same type of action, and same catching ratio as the Hudds, and the price is around 20.00. They also come with a pre inserted frog stinger hook on the bottom. They also have a 6 inch bait out with the same kind of fall ratio,Slow fall is approximately 8 in./sec. Medium fall is about 12-14 in. - sec. and fast fall is 18 in. - sec. They are coming out with a 4 inch, 7 inch and also a 10 inch in the coming months.

Any questions, feel free to contact me...

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

My oldest son went through the shop, garage, attic and boats last Saturday- looking to compile every fishing related item in our household and then proceeded to fill up another tackle box of seperate gear.

One of the buckets that I had for Salmon trolling, bottom ocean fishing and hardware held this.--

Image

I have no recollection of purchasing it- and I was very supprised on this discovery, but not at much as Luke on owning a "swimbait"

There was no price tag on it- but also in that bucket were some 10" worms and other misc from TrueValue in Oakley before they discontinued their hunting and then fishing supply to us. --Before they were forced out of buisness all togther from the fed's and eventually in the end--- the city itself......

It would of been cool to see what I paid for it back when. It looks like it still should work. -- At least for Stripers next fall in DB.
