Well, unlimited resources? Heres what I would go with:

Rod (the $265 model): http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage ... BG2CR.html#

Reel: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage ... C47TE.html

Unfortunately, my resources are not unlimited so I dont own the combo (yet).

Calcutta 400TE on an Okuma 7'11" H
There's more expensive rods but I dig on the Okuma actions.

The new Hasting GUSA swimbait rod is awesome. One of the lightest and strongest. Not cheap but awesome. Go to their website and call Roy. As for the reel I would have to say the Diawa Luna. I would choose it over the Calcutta.

I'd stick with my Redingtons, I'm just too used to the feel. As for the reel, I too would head straight for the Calcutta TE's!

I really like the Diawa Luna 300 reel. To me it is one of the best reels on the market and would put it up against the calcuttas. I also like the Rogue swimbait rods and so far my combo of the two has done me well.

I use the Quantum Cabo 20, although most prefer the 30.

Great reel. Check it out.
