$125,000.00 NATIONAL GUARD, FWL RULES

Post by mike goodwin »

First off let me say a very big thank you to the NATIONAL GUARD and FLW OUTDOORS for making this huge opportunity a reallity. This is so unbelievalbe for us western anglers to have our chance to show off a little of our stuff. I am so proud to be the very first NATIONAL GUARD/FLW LAKE HAVASU CHAMPION in the western division. $125,000.00 WOW

Rick and Cindy Grover, you guys have always bent over backwards for me. You both are truly great friends to all the Goodwin family. Rick, thanks so much for getting my new Z-20 ready to go to work, your ANGLERS MARINE PIT CREW are in a league of they're own. What a bad *** lookin Ranger. Everything on the boat worked prefectly, not one flaw. Thank you for all the phone calls of encouragement every day. You have really always been like a brother to Clint and I. ANGLERS MARINE ROCKS...I'll see you soon....MG

Ricky S, thank you for your kind words. You also are a class act and a credit to our sport. I know you fished your butt off. I want to thank you for giving me a little room the second morning. I started there the fourth morning, and caught one close to 4lbs on about the third cast. I really thought it was game on, but that was the last bite in that whole area. Your day is coming because you work very hard at it. Best of luck to you and go get em...MG

Jeff, thank you bro. You should have been over hear, you have way to much talent to be on the couch. You would have taken home a big check. But I know things are a little tight right now[ain't this a #@$#@]. See you soon, you my DAWG....MG

Brent, Guess you really know how to pick em. Thank you for the nice words. You have been a good friend for a long time. Go get em at Mead, I just might see you there....Mg

John Barron, you have no idea how tough it really was on all of us. But you know there will always be a winner no matter how tough the bite is. Thank you for the love...MG

Mike, what is it like to win that much money? That's so cool. Did you get a chance to watch the UFC or were you just so in shock that you couldn't? Way to go dude. You are the man!

Mike,

Congratulations on the win. This easily had to be the toughest fishing conditions that any of us have every experienced. Taking the gold on such an event really shows the true caliber of your skill on the water.

Tight lines and see you on the Delta!

Mike Congrats on an excellent finish!

This National Guard curcuit is what we have needed for quite sometime.

Bottom line is ALOT of us anglers out there got our return on our investment!

I hope both of our luck continues as the NG continues!

Great Job!
