Now I am far from a "PRO" but i am a decent fisherman and i dont have the oppertunity to get out as much as some people so my time on the water mean's alot to me and it's very dissapointing. :x

I don't fish those bodies of water, but I assure you, you're not the only one.

MN,
I haven't had a banner day on the water in a long time. For a long while there, I couldn't keep the fish off my line...now, its a struggle every time. I guess thats the ups and downs of fishing.

Hey MN,

I have to "laugh" with you about Naci. This year has been really tuff there for many, just look at some of the Tournament results this year so far. I have been out there more then a half dozen times for a very below average on a lake that I have done pretty good on in the past. I fished the won bass event last month, and it was so bad, we let the 4 fish in the livewell go before going in. I will be out there this Saturday, but not fishing the WON event. I hope the rain improves the bite!

PS...If you think it is tuff at Naci, don't go to Santa Margarita Lake
Keep your head up, it can only get better...

I'm in the same boat, take a look at this article from John Crews Jr called Mind Games.

Well, I should know the feeling ... but, I've been lucky the past couple of months. Barely eaked out a limit on San Antonio a few weeks ago and had 7 fish at Berryessa two weekends ago.

I think this is the time of year for finess jigs dragged slowly across the sides of points. When they hit that jig, you know it! Good luck ... I'm heading out to Pardee in this rain Saturday. Hopefully it WARM rain!!
