How many bass over 10lbs have you caught.

I've managed to get seven over the 10lb mark with a 12lb 14oz for my PB.

I'm sure some guys do that in a season.

Who do ya think has the most?

I have 3...1. A 10 3/4 at Clear Lake on a White Spinnerbait. 2.A 10.33 at Don Pedro on a Huddleston.3. a 12+ on a Brown and Purple Jig at Berryessa.I have pic. of the first 2 #3 I lost right at the net

But I am conting it today...

2 over ten for real count...I will safely say I think Fish Chris has the most over 10+.Out of the nutcases that is....

Larry Hemphil and Cooch may have a alot....

I've caught a few, five in the last 3 weeks to be exact! LOL I don't keep track of the exact number anymore, it really serves no purpose to do so.

If I was a guessing man, I'd have to say one of them guys in So Cal like, M.Long, B.Simentel, Murphy or any number of not so popular named guys down there, probably smoke Chris, Bobby, Sapper, Lunker Larry and myself combined!

I'm at four, but hoping to change that this year... 10lbs3oz at Clear lake in jan 2001 on a minner (if that counts), 11lbs 9oz Delta march 05 flippin a senko (with a broken wrist), 10lbs1oz Delta august 05 on a buzzbait (way cool) and 10lbs10oz October 05 again flippin a senko.....I'll be on a mission come spring with swimbaits, 7" wacky senko's and giant tubes.. big dogs beware

One fish, northern strain, in Oregon. 10 lb. 12 oz. caught 03-05-05 from a lake in the Willamette Valley. 5 inch green pumpkin senko off the backside of a dock. Cool thing was my dad was with me in the boat and two good friends were 25 yards away in another boat and watched me land it. Photos and weighed on three scales, then released. These be my eyes when I saw it come up and try to jump

Since I am a detail kind of guy, I do know how many - they are ALL special! I am presently stuck at 43 over 10, 8 of them from 12 to 14-2 lbs. The last two or three hogs I have hooked were lost. I am most interested in my clients landing monsters these days. My two biggest client bass are 12.1 and 12.9, both at Clear Lake - one on a spinnerbait and one on a Weapon jig.

One over 10...10.4 to be exact...missed Beale AFB's lake record by 4 ounces, caught in 1995 on a 7 inch power worm at the base golf course with my bro Calvin at my side on a cheap Quantam baitcaster and Ugly Stick rod...i think it was my 6th bass ever caught....hooked for life as they say...

Two over 12 in this my first year of real dedicated delta bass fishing. Both down here in the south. All about time on the water. Never weighed them but have photos. Everyone should always carry a camera. You never know what you'll see or when you'll need it.

Also I did catch a 6 foot mako shark back east way out in the atlantic at the edge of the continental shelf. What a fish....tail walked and bit the back of the boat.....man what a day....but that isn't what this thread is about is it.....sorry I digress.....

I think some peaple need to buy A good scale!!! I have seen what alot of peaple call 10lbs , and yeah not even close to 10lbs!!

Agreed straightline.... And those fishing shows are some of the worst offenders. They catch one that might go 2lbs (if it was pre-menstral and retaining water) and they call it 7lbs (and they say the camera adds 10 lbs). If some of those guys ever did catch a 10lb bass, they would take it to a certified scale to see if they just bested perry for the record. I take pics and I also take a pic of the digital scale with the bass hanging. Then I take a shot with the fish next to a plano box and possibly some pocket change for scale and perspective. There is no question that my toad photo album is the real deal.

Much agreed! Its tough to argue with a guy who owns a quality scale and has a nice photo!

Zip....Zero....Nada.... 9.6 is my PB so far....I have lost 2 over 10 @ Clear Lake both within 20 minutes of eachother but cant count them . Like Lugnut says at the bottom of his posts about his lugnuts-I will say the same about hooks...CHECK THEM! I am HOPING when I hook up with either or BOTH Bassbones and Stock Option on Clear Lake in March they are going to change my luck (or lack of!) I would love to catch a big un! Good luck to the rest of ya too-

3- all at Isabella. All within 20 yards of each other. Two on the same day. All in July. Best was 11.90 in a tournament on a Senko.

Two total, both on the Delta. One was 16+ caught on a Junebug Robo Zipper. The other was just a shade over 10, during an Angler's Choice Semi Pro tournament. Caught her flipping a hand tied black/blue jig and Zoom trailer.

Next biggest was 9+ during the last "Everstart" event on the delta before they became the Stren series. Biechman netted it for me too!
