Reading the thread of all the guys going to Berryessa this weekend and trying to all get together:
How did that go?
Who seemed to do the best and take home top-nut, odd-nut, etc?
Any tips for a guy (me) going this weekend?
Thanks and hope you all enjoyed yourselves

Puta Creek crank bait, jigs and hula grubs with rattles brown/purple,and some slow rolled spinner baits. Don't worry about the muddy water in Puta fish seemed to be from 5 to 35 feet and hungry. My best 5 only went 13lbs though. Talked to A guy that said the swim bait bite is on right now. He had 18lbs on Saturday for his club tourny but said he had 24 lbs on Friday. Main Lake points is where he said he did good. I need to learn how to fish these bait. I just don't have the confidance with swim baits yet.
Good luck I should be there for A little fun fishing on Saturday out of Markly Cove. Will be trying North East Side of lake if the wind lets us have yet to fish there.
