I have my new truck. We went with the GMC 2500HD. It handled the best and had all the goodies I wanted. We got a white one for when Lance uses it to tow the boat he is dreaming about. Anyway I just wanted to thank you all for all the helpful suggestions. I drove everything and did a bunch of research before choosing this truck and the bass collective (similar to borg) was a big help.

I'll be looking at the new re-designed 520's, when ever they come out. Then I have to search for the best deal on it. Geesh I just did that for the GMC, talk about testing your ability to be civil. Oh ya and I'll be looking at Tritons X and X2 Series

I've been reading on bassboatcentral.com that Ranger "might" be changing there design on the 520 (maybe this year) and I think Rick mentioned something about it on the Bass Cat post.

I'm going to go where I save the most money... period!. The last time I checked the money tree in the back yard it was empty, so my money is worth something to me. Ill give Rick a shot at selling me a boat because I feel I owe him that. Its not that "I want to be Groverized", its more like I'm willing to get "Groverized" if the price is right. I do concider myself a tough and informed customer and will drive hours North, South, East and West to save money.

So we went into a Nissan dealership today to look at the 07 Altima. Its almost worth it to just walk into the sales manager's office, present YOUR offer and then walk out. The sales manager at Nissan said things like "how bad do you want this car" and "your generation isnt driving that other car your looking at, so you NEED this car".

Some of you know my wifes humor, so when the sales manager asked "how bad do you want this car" My wife said "Look, your under this impression that I need your car, but I wouldnt trade my new GMC 2500 HD Duramax / Allison tranny for anything you have on your lot.

I just thought id share that

L
