By no means am I an expert in the true definition of the "south" delta but I'd say anything south of Holland is probably "south" delta. Not sure where to the south it ends though.

I would consider anything South of Disco Bay to be the South Delta. Anythin North of Whites to be North Delta. Anything North of Disco Bay and South of Whites to be the Middle Delta.

call anything below the Orwood, CruiserHaven, BullFrog rail bridge crossing, the South Delta.

Ricky, Whites and above is actually the East Delta, it's all east of the San Joaquine. Some folks call Hog, Sycamore and Beaver the north, but it's really the east. The North Delta, that would be up the Sacto River and the Cache, Minor, Lindsey area over by Rio Vista.

Basically, if you take a 6" plate, touch Cruiser to the south, the mouth of False river at Franks and 7mile off the San Joaquine, draw a circle, you'll encirlce the Middle Delta and then just draw a Compass T from North to South, to East and West. This will mark the 5 Corridors of the Delta.

If you are scared to run your boat there, it's south Delta.

South is south of Victoria.
