Okay folks, who's gonna win the fights tomorrow night?
Sylvia vs. Couture
Hughes vs. Lylte
Franklin vs. MacDonald
McFedries vs. Kampmann
Sobral vs. Lambert
Of course there are several more fight but these are the main five I'm sure will be on the telecast.
Much as I like Randy Couture I gotta go with Big Tim this time out. On the rest I'll go with Hughes, Franklin, Kampmann and Sobral.
What do you guys think?

Cro-Cop TKO'd Eddie Sanchez in the first round of UFC 67...
Re: UFC 68: The Uprising
Couture over Sylvia??
Yeah Right!

Re: UFC 68: The Uprising
We'll see! You dont think Couture will gas?? I do. He has in the past and this time he will have a 7' 270 pound man knocking him around. Time to hang em' up old man. The only chance he has is taking it to the ground, but Sylvia has a excelent sprawl. Couture will get frustrated and tired, then Sylvia will pound on him.
You dont have to be a MMA guy to see that. Do you think Football players can pick who's going to win a game just because they play? I agree with your other pick's though.

Re: UFC 68: The Uprising
Well, as much as I hate to think it, I think UFC is turning to WWF. Dana White is a business man first! It was clear to me that someone got to Tim and paid him very well to lay down for the story book come back by Courture. He wasnt even throwing punches. FIX!
I don't know.....
Randy hit him with that first punch, Tim never cleared the cobwebs. I'd never seen Randy throw punches like that from so many weird angles, I don't think Tim ever figured it out what was happening after that first punch put him on his a$$. I've only seen Tim fight three times now, he never really looked that special to me, at times vulnerable, that first punch rocked Tims world. I don't thinkit was fixed, infact, I think ChuckL could pummel him too.
The Kapmann fight was a trip. McFedries was gonna knock him out if he continued to stand up, took him down, and then G'night! That was sweet!

Are you "The One"
Mike Mike Mike
I knew Tim had to have at least ONE fan. I didn't realize he was a bass fisherman though...
Serously Dude - Tim's a slug. Monsoon wasn't athletic enough to take him out. Orlovsky? Tim was just so far inside his headI've watched him go 10 rounds now - against the Snowman and the Natural - and it's amazing how that Dude continues. Fans hate him. He bags in the cage, takes rounds off, fights like a big, dumb robot (incapable of adjusting) and just plain got his a ss handed to him.
He's to heavy - big - to fight in the HW division. Cutting to 265 to make weight, then eating everthing in sight maybe is what does it to him. Maybe he's just a slug. Either way, He was beatin horribly by an old man.
Sad though - what CroCop will due to Randy. No one will beat Mirko - he's at a different level than all others. He's a 230 - 40 pound version of Georges St Pierre.
Prediction - CroCop will hold that title a long, long time.

Re: I don't know.....
WTF indeed....
Man - I love Babaloo. One of my favorite fighters. But D amn, I think he's done. To many times he gets caught and goes dark. Lambert's good, but not top-tier. That was either a step back up or falling off the world for Sobral. I don't see him coming back.
I was somewhat suprised too at MacDonald. That was the one that I thought would be the most interesting. While I'm a big Rich Franklin fan, I don't know if Rich was that much better or if MacDonald was just a flash in the pan. He's obviously not a contender. Franklin outclassed him from the opening bell.
And I don't like the "No Mas" way out of a fight.... especially not at the end of the round. someone's paying you to be there, you survived the round.... get beat, don't quit.
