Which GPS would be the best
Which GPS would be the best
Would a internal or external be the best? And what are the pros and cons? Any info would be greatly appreciated as I need to buy one A.S.A.P

My thought is that an external antenna is replaceable in case of a problem down the road where an internal antenna is not. Once the unit gets older and may no longer be supported by the mfr, if the antenna develops a problem you are looking at replacing the complete unit instead of replacing just an antenna.

Ken makes a very good point. I also recall reading some time back that the external has a definite advantage over the internal. Can't remember exactly what it was. Think it had something to do with sensitivity and signal loss. Anyway, that's why I went with the external.
