We Have a Chat Room again!

After much work to integrate with the Forum software, I have re-opened our chat room. You can use this room for general discussions or whatever you would like. For the most part, it will be unmoderated but we will pop in from time to time to check on things. You will need to be logged in to your forum account to access the chat room.

With all due respect, you need to tone down your attitude about a hundred notches. Cupcake? Please, I deal with more crap here in a day than you see in a month. I was simply trying to explain my position. If you can't realize that this is not the lounge then that is your loss. I will toss it with the best of them in the lounge but we need to maintain some decorum in the main forums.

I am severely tired of people who don't have enough common courtesy to see when we are kindly trying to rein things in and just want to stir the pot. And yes, before you think I am favoring anyone, BassBones is at the TOP of that list. We worked together for a few years and I wanted to fire him more than once, but he is like that drunk Uncle at Thanksgiving, you don't want him there but you want him there at the same time, just to see what happens.

I want to make a comment on this chat room and "lounge"subject.

This is a fishing forum , you gave us PM capabilities, different forum subtitles for species, hunting, cars, sports etc. That should be enough, then again I am one amongst many here.

If the sponsers do truely watch this site, they surely have to notice
what goes on in the "Lounge" and the titles/subject matter that occurs there does not seem condusive to keeping within posting policies. So why give and give more?

It just seems that a few persistent posters who abused what this forum was about, get or got there way irregardless and obliviuos to the rest of us.

The attack on a good friend of mine awhile back ,who was voted Misty hunk of the year "all good fun" by Sieg and Family, got me upset to no end. This latest attack on Cooch and his picture is the straw that broke my back and I had to say my peace.

Please do not get me wrong in my tone (typing, not talking to you folks) fun jabbing and jokes are what keep us sane and this forum is a place for me to get away and enjoy fishing with many others whom have the same passion. Now the backstabbing, name calling, abusive "I do not have to listen to you nature" has just gone to far.

Please do not reply telling me that if I do not like what someone has to say do not open a thread, I know that.

I am done now and just need to get out fishing and get outta my slump!!

The Lounge was created because we had a bunch of people in our "regular" forums who thought it was funny to take over threads with their useless drivel. When I asked them to stop, they went to a seasonal forum (The Big Game forum) and kept it up. I had to give them a place to play without undermining the integrity of the main forums.

That being said, we MAY and I say MAY be deleting the lounge. I hve created a chat room where they can go have their fun and hopefully that will appease them. If not, I guess I gotta get a new delete key ready!

Are you or are you not Hogroper? or something like that?

If so then you and I have been round here longer than the saults,Doms,conlows and bahlzars back when Steve Greene with an E or Stickbait said something and it was genuine and true.
