I am just wondering what criteria you all consider and factor in when choosing whether to use a single tail or a double tail grub when using one to tip a jig. This info would be for both lakes as well as the Delta.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Grub Selection Question
Re: Grub Selection Question
I use both, but perfer the twin tail for more movement and give the impression of size.

Re: Grub Selection Question
If you are triing to imitate A crawdad and A slower fall go with A twin tail. If you want A faster fall or swimming A jig to imitate bait fish go with the single tail.

Re: Grub Selection Question
Terry's description is right on.
I usually start with twins and if I don't get bit on those, I'll change to the single.
