First Annual BassTurdz Clear Lake Trip, Have a few Q's

Post by Marone »

We're heading up to CLear Lake Oaks at the end of the month(26th to the 29th) Any one know if there is going to be any tourneys up there. Opens perhaps??

Another Q, we'd like to hit the town one night too, any good Bars/Casinos near by to try an hang out with some local Babes?? Of course we won't be drinking and driving so it's need to be somewhere in the vicinity of CLear Lake Oaks.(taxi ride)

One other Q, Google Maps is saying for us to head through Napa to get there form San Jose, kind of windy roads aren'y they?? ANy one from the SOuth Bay suggest a different route??

Too bad the Hudd Bite was broadcasted INternationally on Television, I was hoping we have that to ourselves all weekend!!

Just the 200 boats from FLW Stren series...

Lotsa luck with the local 'babes'. Robinson is your casino. It's a few clicks up from the Oaks, tho.
It's just a beating.....till you fight back.

HOLY S##T! 200 Boats!!! Oh well, I'll put on a baby horse so all those bass seeing the same trout will have something bigger to bite.

I heard there are some steady dreaming ladies out there. Dirty Shirts, Missing teeth and a breathe that smells like whiskey. SOUNDS AWESOME!

Good luck with the babes.... lol... .thats funny there.... lol.... especially in the Oaks...If it warms up nicely... you could go fish at the Scandanavian Club dock....there will be babes there..... :)

Last time I fished that area, there was a lonely girl, sunbathing askimg me and my partner if we had a wakeboard onboard to take her wakeboarding..... man I wish I would of been prepared for that.....

You should have grabbed your coffee table and rope, she could maybe jumped the wake on that! Got to do what it takes to get them in the boat, even if it means throwing on live bait! :P

I saw a decent looking girl in the Oaks once. Really I swear! It was a long time ago though and she looked lost.

Mike,
Don't tell them about the Swedish Bikini Team dock. You want them to get some fishing in.

Yeah... we were beyond ourselves right then trying to figure something out... lol.... I would go into detail on the type of sun bathing and position, but there are younger eyes here.... oportunities like that dont present themselves often....

BTW Dewayne....that girl you saw was lost....It was my GF... she was looking for Higgins shop...

Marone,

Good Luck with the search for babes in the Oaks- or most anywhere up there - har! har!

For a casino, you can always head over to Konocti Vista Casino, but you'll likely have to fend off those 400 Stren guys who would be there too.

As for traveling there from SJ, going thru Napa is the preferred route. avoid going thru the major tourist stops by using the Silverado trail; its the locals route. The road is a little windy going thru there, but its not too bad. There isnt many stops along the way either, so its fast going and straight thru. you end up right at Redbud; at the lower end.

The only real other option is to head out on 680, up to 80, across 505, then onto 5 north and take the Clear Lake exit in Williams. Big sign that says "Clear Lake". Cant miss it, but its certainly a lot longer way to go. i dont recommend that you go thru SF and up 101. that's just asking for trouble and a lot longer ride, not to mention traffic.

Enjoy,

...didn't need tips about the fishing.(yet)

blocked the bground cuz it's small lake, not many spots, easy giveaways, sorry. ask me, maybe I'll say, maybe I won't.

(i always have tried to stay away from these boards, because someone always has something bad to say about everything)

I think we had words once on the other board we will not speak of. That's old news though, no hate here.

You Bassturdz are alright in my book. We should all do some fishing sometime.

Right on man, I talk to Jerbs a lot on the other board. We'll have to get out there and slay it sometime.

Good luck on your CL trip.
