Now, let me start off by saying that i am not in any way, calling out these guys, nor making light of their situation. I truly would like to hear their story. Here it is:
I want to know what has gone terribly wrong for the 2 guys at the bottom of the list at the Stren Event at Clear Lake. I am really curious about what they're thinking; how they're trying to adjust, and just in general what is going on thats got them so far out of whack with the rest of the competitors?
In 2 days of fishing on such a great lake, with a bite thats good for most, and awesome to unbelievable for others, these 2 guys are having a nightmare of a tournament!
Kelly Jeffers has only 4 fish for 10-06, and Bill Cowan has only 4 fish for 8-07.
I'm sure these guys are great guys, good fisherman, and i applaud them for being there, but there has to be a story or two behind this.
What do you guys think?

Nobody remembers who came in 2nd place. Fish Hard - Play Hard!

Many times the guys at the bottom were swinging for the fences. Some will throw a swimbait for 7 hours, and at the last hour, when it's apparent all is lost, they start fishing for a limit. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.
Some will have had motor problems, etc. etc.

Mike,
I truly am not trying to call them out, but we always here the stories from the winners, or the almost winner stories.
I really would like to hear what's happening at their end 'cause thats me too, some of the times, so i want to try learn from their experience too!
Hopefully, they will know i give them both 100% respect and best wishes that they get it turned around today!

I think that they didn't get a good limit the first day and figured since they weren't on good fish that they wouldn't improve on their position so they didn't fish the second day...or they didn't weigh their small 10lb limit for day two...

Pardon my ignorance, but why wouldn't anyone weigh in a small limit? You never know what might happen on day three.
