I'm looking for an outboard to re-power my boat. Please give me a call and let me know. My boat is rated for up to 175 HP. Thanks.

Loren,

Dee Thomas was looking at getting another motor. He has a 2003 200 Merc. It has a little over a year left on the warranty. He does not drive it hard. Call my cell if interested and I will put you in touch with him. I think he only wants $ 5,000.00 for it. You can confirm that if you call him.

Thanks-I would love to have Dee's motor-maybe it would take me to some of his hotspots- I'm just kidding and I can only go up to a 175 HP. Let me know if there is anything in that range. Thanks.

Jim,

I'm looking for a 175. I have a Merc now, so to save on cost of controls a Merc or Mariner would be best. I like the ratings for Evinrude E-tecs and I know Yamaha's will hold their own. I am not picky- but I got screwed (hard) purchasing a used 1999 Optimax with limited warranty. Now that I have learned my lesson I would spend enough to get a newer motor and hopefully a warranty.~$8,000???
