Need information on Coyote Lake

My dad is going to be 94. He is still in pretty good shape except for battling bladder cancer. My parents divorced when I was 3 and we ended up living apart my whole life. We have never fished together. I did not start fishing until a few years ago when my own children asked to go. On my last visit dad said he would like to go fishing with me on my bass boat. He lives in Campbell and Coyote Lake is only about 30 to 40 minutes away. I plan on taking him in September after the weather cools a little. Is there anybody out there that can give me advice on fishing this lake? I live in Bakersfield and fish lakes close by here. I am not great but do know one end of the rod from the other.

Thanks a lot. Dad can't be out in the heat ( for him that is anything over 80) so was waiting until fall. I wrote your number down and will call when it is closer. Or I may just have to head up a "prefish" just so I look better. I will call.

Not sure if you can launch a boat right now due to low water levels...better call the lake.
