I bet PETA hooked that dog then killed it  Just like they did the cats on the news. They would kill a animal just so it will not become a pet. They feel the animal is free by killing it. I am sorry but ANYONE who thinks like that should NEVER be listened to. I think they need to be in a NUT HOUSE!! The Government should step in they are like a cult (killing animals to make them free). Twisted minds.

HEY PETA it would be nice if you guys could make it on the next Comit.

I say we load a bunch of PETA jacka$$es up on a plane and drop them off in the African bush where they will learn a valuable lesson that it is GREAT to be at the top of the foodchain......and it won't be them!!! They'll wish they had a gun when that hungry bunch of lions are chomping their arse!!! "Gee, if I only had a gun"....

If they had a brain larger than a pea, they would be able to process the pain info and not hit the same baits over and over throughout their lifespan.

this ad is a perf3ct example of why stupidity should be a crime with the punishment of death-these idiots don't stop to realize where all the money comes from to keep and maintain a healthy fish population-face it without all of us and our %0,000 boats and 200.00 rods fish and wildlife would definatly suffer. Ever stop to think how much California alone makes a year of licenses and fines and etc relating to fishing? I hate ads like this-it has ruined my day!

Basstamer...don't let it ruin your day!!! Hell, I got a huge belly laugh out of it because it is friggin' hilarious how these pathetic idiots think. Their agenda is based on knee jerk emotion vs. scientific fact.

Sadly, there will always be a few who think hmmmm...they may have a point. So if you let it ruin your day...they have at least accomplished part of their goal.

Re-read the article and LYAO!

Not counting veggies, do you know how many critters die to produce wheat? I do, and they could care less about how many PEOPLE die to maintain the guilt free diet.

I guess they welcome mice and rats into their homes as well.

I get stressed out just watching the bugs explode on the windshield. PETAphiles must not drive either...

Idiots.

Personally I have ZERO respect for anyone who would asscociate themselves with PETA, eco-terrorists, hypocrites, and spreading lies as fact.
It is interesting that debates on what, if anything fish "feel" going back more than 400 years, there are books dating to the 1500-1600 a.d. time period discussing the morality of catching fish, the use of bait vs. artiificial lures, the need for fishermen to not allow fish to suffer. So it seems this is a topic that will never be solved between those of us that fish and those who would gladly take our right to fish away.

Hey Guys,

You all know I have a PETA sticker on the back window of my truck. Mine says, People Eating Tasty Animals and I have had more than one confrontation over this sticker. But at 6'4" and 260# those confrontations don't usually last very long. I never have figured out why.  By the way, the NRA sticker is right next to it, along with the BASS, Ducks Unlimited and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. :D :D

Not a bass....

But I have caught Ling Cod, on 1 lb solid steel diamond jigs.... as they twist and lunge, it has to be busting out teeth left and right.... then once in a while, one will "rip off" of the 3/0 treble hook.... So hurry, drop it right back down and shake the heck out of it, because 50% of the time, they will slam it again !!!

I'm sorry, but their ain't no freaking way I'd bite something again, that just busted half of my teeth out, and ripped big, ugly gashes in my mouth ! I think it should be quite obvious to anybody but a PETA member, that fish do not think like humans.

No sympathy here.... I'm nice to most of the fish I catch, because I want the chance to stick them again, someday down the road :-)

Fish don't have pain receptors in their mouth. This allows them to eat crawdads and the like without worry.

Dogs on the other hand are mamals and have pain receptors in their mouth. No comparison.

The Peta bozo that conjured up this butt-farce already knew this. It is pure propoganda aimed to mislead the moronic masses of the world.

And if a bunch of Peta freaks ever show up at another take a kid fishing event that I am a volunteer at. I'll kick that dude in the carrot suits *** twice as bad as I did last time.

Good fishing and happy hooking,

Im so pissed at that peta group I could just club a seal. My dog ate a fly box with about 200 flies in it. X ray looked like the bottom of tackle box. Dog never had a problem, just as mean as ever.

The DFG hatchery workers slit the guts of live female salmon to harvest roe for the hatcheries. Do these fish suffer? Who cares?
This is the DFG!! Or nowadays, do they whack em in the head first because it's less stressful for them?

If these PETA folks eat any sort of meat...do they know how the animals are killed? Do they look where they are walking to avoid stepping on ants or bugs? Do they own any leather products? Or down comforters? Do they own and use fly swatters?

My point is...do they walk the walk? Answer...no! Their pitiful agendas crack me up...and this new campaign with the hook in the dog's lip shows me that they are no threat to our sport.
