River2Sea hardbaits

Post by Scott D. »

Just received a WoodNSlither and curious if anyone has used one yet, and caught fish on it. I'm a little concerned that the little plastic tail isn't going to last long on it!!! Don't know of replacement tails that they make, so curious what maybe some of you guys have done. Thanks in advance.

Form what I have heard there is not much action on that bait. Lots of guys have bought it thinking they will be getting a Triple Trout, but end up disappointed.

1. WE STOCK THE REPLACEMENT TAILS HERE 92) PER BOX

2. EMAIL DAN-O HE IS THE EXPERT ON HOW TO USE THE BAIT. I HAVE SEEN IT IN ACTION AND HAVE ACTUALLY CAUGHT FISH ON IT, NOTHING BIGGER THAN 4 LBS THOUGH...

I STILL PREFER RUBBER PLASTIC BAITS.

GOOD LUCK

Jigs, thanks, but I'm not asking where I can get replacement tails as much as how they hold up to bass busting them. If I only get one fish out of them, and their tail is jacked, then I won't be buying anymore of them.

The tail of the Wood'n Slither is made of Super Plastic, so it is fairly durable.

The one thing to remember is to not put it with regular plastic baits, or the tail will melt.

No action? I haven't used it yet, but if you want to see what they look like in the water, go to tacklewarehouse.com, Swimbaits, River2Sea, WoodNSlither, and there is a video link to see them being tested in a pool. Looks like lots of action to me. Maybe it requires the right rod and line setup? Anyone have input on that?

And if you want to see their newbait, the "Kong", go to SwimbaitNation.com's forums and see it there. If you don't like the wood'nSlither maybe you'll like the Kong.

Should be available at BassTackleDepot.com within a couple weeks.
