NaCl....Need A Big Favor...

Post by BassTraveler »

Dean,
Will you please submit to sTony your:
Article: Legends of the Sport with Dave Gliebe.
It was in Gary Yamamoto's Inside Line, the Sept/Oct 2004 Issue.
This is by far the BEST Article EVER written.

I have used the information in this article to bring in some HUGE weights and also win a few tournaments.

I am completely convinced if bassfishermen use some of Gliebe's philosophy they to will increase their fish catching.

Thanks Dean.

I forwarded your request to Inside Line and I asked them to send the file to sTony. I am on the road to Arkansas and the article is in my office computer so I can't send it myself. If they don't get it done by the time I return (Tuesday, 26th) then I will dig it up.

I agree with you about Dave's perspective. It is unique and even national pros like Rick Clunn refer to Gliebe as their role model. I'm really glad you enjoyed my article...thank you!

I have every 2004 Inside Line except that one. I remember the article vaguely, but would love to read it again. Figures that is the one missing from the library. Gonna have to dig deep and try to find it.

Dave Gliebe article in up on the Western Bass

Post by NaCl »

front page. Hiedi at Inside Line was nice enough to forward it to sTony for publication. If you enjoy the article, you might think about subscribing to Inside Line...just give them a call at:

(800) 645-2248

I believe a subscription is only about $15 a year. In addition to feature articles, Gary Dobyns and Dee Thomas both have columns in the magazine.

Excellent article thanks a lot for getting it posted here :)

And 100% agree, Inside Line is a must have magazine from Yamamoto. The DVD you get by purchasing a susbscription is quite good as well.

Dean - Great one on one with Gliebe. Dave's approach to fishing is definately outside the box and the number of tournament wins he has under his belt validates his unique fishing style. Its refreshing to read an article about a professional of Dave's caliber who has stayed humble and genuine during a very stellar fishing career. Thanks again.

That article blew me away.........as I also spent many days at William Land Park as a kid catching bluegill with a bobber and dough balls for bait. I think I discovered that little pond when I was about 7.......my grandmother lived near the park and would take me all the time.............but there was one guy who was ALWAYS there..........hmmmm.

Hey Rob,
You wrote...."What an innovative way to fish...block out all the negative thoughts and trust your instincts...Sounds like a plan to me!!!"

I would like to take it a step further. Apply it to all areas of your life.
Just imagine...if you block out all the negative thoughts and trust your instincts.
I always try to block out the negative and come from the positive.
Does it always work. No.
I made a mistake last week, by chewing out a good friend. Should have never happened. I told him how sorry I was and began to channel my negative thoughts back into positive ones.
It's not easy, but in the long run will make anyone that tries a better person.

This fine article by Dean has lead me to other positive reads.
Best fishes,

Sieg

Funny how life comes around...

One of the best books I ever read came from you....Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Since then, I've completed my first novel and hope to have it published by this fall. The difference between dreams and accomplishments is effort. It won't always make dreams come true but the journey is sure fun!
