Alameda County Deputy Sheriff's Tournament @ Russo's 6/30

The Alameda County Deputy Sheriff's Association is having a tournament this Saturday at Russo's. This is their 3rd annual tournament which raises money to support youth sports programs. Please see the STICKY at the top of the forum page for details.

In support of the association's efforts I will be there with my display of ESOX Rods, Put a Sock on It rod protectors and lure keepers and Save Phace masks.

I will also provide the tournament director with 50% discount certificates for ESOX Rods and other goodies in tackle packs for the raffle.

On Saturday, June 30th, I attended the Third Annual Alameda Deputy Sheriff's Association's Tournament at Russo's. Deputy Delibridge and the Alameda Deputy Sheriff's Association put on a first class tournament. Everything was terrific especially the ribs, chicken and sausages prepared by Wazuu BBQ LA James!!! In additon to the fishing prizes there was a huge raffle.

The winning weight was 27+ pounds and the big fish was 9+ pounds.

If you are or have a partner that is active or retired police, firefighter, or works in the emergency field or the service you are qualified for next year's tournament.

The tournament is a fund raiser for the association's youth sports programs so in addition to having a great time you are contributing to a very worthy cause.
