Hipster, if you haven't tried it yet, give No Sweat Mist a try. It has a UV protectant in it, which to me, makes it a better product. Also, I used the Spot Remover to get the water spots off my Merc and it worked great. They really did their research and put out a good product line.

Scott,

I am an unofficial team No Sweat Mist pro-staff member I love the stuff and use it religously (sp). I wax with Misty once a month and do the motor with no spot once a month as well. I wipe with Misty after and in between uses. Trust me I love it.

But to get that muck, yuck line from Clear Lake off I like the Purple Stuff, it cuts right through it.

I am a clean boat freak!!!

I will call the Hook and order some if they carry it!!

Thanks Folks

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I use both the pink and purple stuff and it is by far one of the best products I've ever used on my boat.

I am a fanatic about my boat. I bought it two years ago and it looks like it just came off the show room floor.

All I ever use is the pink and purple stuff.

If you still have problems finding it let me know and I can ask my partner where you can get it up there. My team partner actually works for him in his other business. So I can find out directly from the owner where you can get it.

PM if you need the info.

I gotta agree-I have used the Purple stuff and aside from the bubble gum smell couldnt find anything I liked! Sieg's No Sweat has definatly worked out better for me....give it a try and I believe you may be switching also. Ok Sieg that oughta get me on your "Pro Staff" right? Ha!
