I don't know the exact date. It was a couple of months ago. Supposedly everyone was okay.

We fishermen pay for a bay delta enhancement stamp.Why don't the wake boarders,yacht owners,jet skiers,and this particular guy have to buy a delta levee enhancement stamp?Seems only fair doesn't it.just my thoughts.

Good point, but the levees are maintained by taxing the property owners of each island. Usually the farmers, and it is by use not by property values. So a guy with a million dollar house pays the same as a guy with a mobile home.

Everybody else that blasts on through with a big wake really pays nothing.

The islands can apply for a percentage of reimbursement from the state for money already spent on maintenance.
