What a toad! That may be the fattest bass Ive ever seen. The fatness starts right up in the throat, not just in the belly. Unbelievable. I dont think that fish was eating crawdads, and I dont think its got eggs in it.

There is only one lake I know of that has fish shaped like that, no doubt about it. Hopefully someday Ill get one like that.

Well, I suppose I assumed the fish was just caught. But it could have been caught back in Feb or Mar, so it could have eggs in it.

These little ol' 10 to 13's I've been sticking lately are nice..... but 17 freaking 2 ! I'm not worthy !

Chris, if you know its just been caught, then maybe you also know if it was released? Let us know. Hope shes still swimmin, cause that appears to be a relatively young fish, talk about potential.

Sure would like to know how you figure it could be a young fish..You can just about figure the fish has seen 80% of its life or more to attain that size..
