I want to look into doing the Havasu round on the Pro side. Can we fish only one round? Who would I talk to about signing up? Any info on that?

I dont know Pete. From what I gathered they dont give priority to anglers that dont want to fish the whole season, so your chances in fishing one lake might be limited. But dont take my word for it, Ill be calling FLW and see what the rules are for signing up are, because I'm a Triton owner I might have problems but who knows. I have 2 friends including myself that want to buy 3 new boats as a package deal, so I might be a Ranger owner soon.

Priority is done in this order. First the guys who qualify for the Stren championship get to sign up first. Then the Ranger boat owners. Next the Champion and Stratos owners. After that comes the general public. They like to sign you up for all 4. The last group is the guys who only want to cherry pick a tournament. The Stren should have some space for single tournament guys but not too much space.
Sign up's won't be until after the Stren Championship in Nov.
You have time so don't worry about it.
The problem with signing up last is getting paired up for the tournament. They need to have you paired up to fish.

Do they do the pairing or do you have to sign up with a pro

Remember I fished them the first 2 years. Yes they do the pairings.

So if you register to enter a tournament online, do they wait until all the entries are in before they notify you whether or not you are entered? If so, how much notice do they give you? How often do people get declined?

Ray is totally correct. And if your not a ranger owner and if you sign up for all of the events then you will get priority, pending if there is room, The events from last season didnt look like they filled up all the way, but if you do decide to cherry pick, i know from past events that i didnt know if i was going to fish until like the day before the event, and some people didnt know until the pairings started. Its kind of a gamble, but so is everything else.

Yeah Ray,
Boy do I remember the trip back to the Championship in TN. Most of us stayed at that same hotel on the corner.

Oh man thanks for the reminder Ricky.... That was such a tough deal. I had them in practice pretty good but man that water level and current stuff messed with me bad. River impoundments like that really mess with me bad.
