Your tournament director should have givin you a Pass. The people on the gate will work with the tournament directors and give them special passes to put in your vehicle window.

You should have got a yellow window tag from the sign up guys to put on your rear view mirror. You still have to pay for parking if you don't have a season pass, but that yellow tag is the key to not getting a ticket.

Thats the thing, I have a annual pass and it wasn't a tourney
it was just an open to the public deal I talked to someone
else who also fished this and nobody gave them any kind
of tag or marker for there truck but we did get a piece of tape
for the boat, go figure.l

I did the same night fishing thing. When I checked in at the snack bar, they gave me a outdated approx 2.5 by 5 slip of glossy paper advertising something. They told me to put it on my dash. Seemed dumb but I did it. No ticket. Appeal it, you have your name and #'s on the sign in sheet.

Good luck!!

I was there Saturday night Also and I saw the ranger placing a ticket on a dodge truck that was parked behind my vehicle. Would that have been you? I thought that sucked. It was obvious that you were fishing either the JT tackle tournament or the Casitas night fishing. Either way, someone forgot to give you a slip to put on your vehicle. In my opinion, if you were parked behind the taped off area for night fishing, it should have been quite obvious to the ranger. I would go down there and asked to see the roster for the Casitas Night fishing. Show them your name on there and they should delete the ticket. I had asked the ranger who did the boat inspections about parjking my truck there since I was fishing out of my friends boat. He informed me as long as I had a day stamp I was fine. When I went to the cafe, I asked the guy there and he gave me a yellow flier to place on my dash. So here is the same ranger saying it's fine, then giving a ticket later to someone.
