2007 Duck season dates

Has anyone heard what the season dates are yet

I believe the regs. come out sometime in September.

accepted reccommendation of the staff.....

so dates 'same' as last year - except to account for calendar progression....

For BOS, thats Oct 20th opener

7 ducks
7 mallards ( 2 hens)
3 Scaup
2 Redhead
1 Pintail
1 Can (*)
6 geese in 3 zones - see proposal for details (socal remains total of 5 - can include to 4 white, 3 dark)

(*) - With an amendment to work to get the 2nd Canvasback as soon as they can - which could be the 2nd half of the year getting the additonal Canvasback.

The additonal Can possibility will be noted in the regs that a possible upward change is possible and then when the documentation and process is complete to add the additional bird.

No change to the Dec 1st start of electronic spinners....and Hanna wants spinners included in next year's agenda to discuss and possibly amend rules on it and "lighted wing" decoys that simulate spinning.
