My calculator says it adds up to $14598.00. Pretty good cheese for no entry and 16 boats. Rick G.

Seeing those odds...

Post by Pete Marino »

makes me wish I was going.
5000 g's for 1st with 16 boats.....NICE!!!

I heard there is an entry fee and option money costs but still good dough though to be won.

My picks to take the dough are as follows....

1st place.. Guy Williams and Keith Rini. Guy isnt traveling 3-4 hours for 2nd place. He will be EXTREMELY tough to beat. And Keith is a good stick and a great team player. Look for Team Dead Money to ROCK THE HOUSE!!!

2nd place... Mike Hart and Mike Carpenter....WHAT A PAIRING!! They will have something to say about it before its over.

3rd place...Kyle Grover and Daren Lacher... Another great pairing. These guys will be tough to beat as well and will definetly keep the first to teams honest. Note to Daren...change that crappy line and put on some maxima, Kyle will tea bag you if you lose any fish in this tournament.

Good luck guys...

Thanks Pete...I already took care of that problem. I can assure you I wont need to be tea bagged by anyone that weekend. Especially since Hippie is getting his perm that saturday and wont be joining us at Margarita...

Yeah who said NO Entry. I heard there is an entry.

Pete make sure you give Guy and big hug and kiss before he leaves. ha ha I know you have to stick with your boy.

Sorry to say your picks are wrong Pete.

Must say the payout for 16 guys is good. Although I would like to see them pay out a little deeper.

Good luck to everyone.

I will keep my picks to myself. They know who they are.

There are options on both Pro and Am side. Any money spent on when entering the TOC is option(al) money.

Def "optional": Possible but not necessary; left to personal choice

If anyone does not want to enter the "options" then there is no fee to fish...

My money is on a pro that has won before, you draw the line to that angler. Two of the winners are not here either. I've heard down the grape vine there is a entry but have not heard from anyone at Scale News though. Are big fish and big stringer options? If so how will they pay if everyone does not get into them, same? How much is it? I'm leaving Wednesday morning and I'll see everyone at the lake on Thursday.

Big Gorilla.....

If you dont think that Guy has a very good shot at winning this tournament then you must spend the year with your head in the sand. haha Dude can flat out get them in the boat. I dont say that because he's my team partner, I say that because its true.
Guy does has a serious shot at the "W" as do 3-4 other guys.

How many spots should they pay down to in a field of 16? Top 3 is plenty. Someone shouldnt be reward for getting 4th or 5th in a field that small. Thats just my opinion....

hey dl no perm i have to work . this is the time of year we push . dl there is an entry 120.00 for basic and 100.00 for options . I agree to fish against only 16 boats for 5 grand is sick . I think they should rotate the ams the second day though a few of them are pro capabilies and what if you get stuck for 2 days with a guy you don't like that woould suck for pro or am id feel sorry for the guy stuck with me for 2 days. staring at a fat china man in a banana hammock for 2 days in the hot sun
