Archery opener!

So were's everyone going for the opener next weekend? We hunt just south of the Yolla Bolly wilderness area around ball rock! I'm ready to go! Is it the 18th yet! :lol:

Heading up to C4 on friday, was out scouting yesterday, saw four legal bucks, one out past his ears.

Was up near Pinto Ridge this weekend in B1 for the archery opener. Got lucky Sunday, spotted a buck bedded on a hillside and got within 47 yards of it before it stood up. Made a good shot. It was just an average forked horn but its a memory that I'll re-live thousands of times.

How did you guys do?

Just got back! I missed a nice 2x3 sunday morning :cry: and a small forky monday! We had alot of misses in our group this week :( congrats on your forky!
