Sounds like Guy won about 7K. Great job. Kyle had a big bag today to come out of nowhere, also big fish today. Sounds like the top 2 spots camped out on 1 spot both days for d/shot and jig fish. Rick G.

I am a local to Santa Margarita Lake, just wondering...Did Kyle start throwing the Swimbait today? The weather changed a lot today, and with it I would say the swimbait bite should of improved.....

Did not get lots of details but it sounded like he fished deep with a Texas 9" worm and a jig. Sounds like the best reaction bite was on the buzzbait. I am sure this week all the stories will be told on this site. He was getting about 24lbs a day in practice, all on reaction, but died on it the first day after the lake got pounded. Should have adjusted earlier on Sat to have a chance. Live and learn. He was very excited about that lake though, and had a blast. Rick G.
