361v ranger question?

does anybody know if ranger made a 361v in 1997--they made a 361xt i believe--the last year i found they made a 361v was in 1994--the reason is that i am looking at one but the guy says its a 97, so i went to NADA for a referance point and only comes up with a 94 model--3 yrs is a big dollar differance--thx XMAN

Go to Bassboatcentral/rangerspects2.htm I think thats it. It says the 361V was made until 1996.

Looks like the boat your talking about is in there. look under rangers for sale. There is a 1997 361V from San Francisco in there for 13k. Is that it?

Maybe the motor is a 97' and he bought it new in 97, But the hull must be a 96'. Looks like a good deal...

Might have been a prize boat. I bought a 364 in 96 (newly won) and the last year it was manufactured was in 94.
