at the lauch ramps you can see about 100+ stripers in the 4-6 inch range with 3 LM in the 3-4 pound range keeping them shallow. Eat them up boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a very good sign of things to come!!

Well, it has not hurt the bite because it is smokin out there right now. Art Berry has been guiding his clients to multiple 26-30 lb limits. Lots of rain in the afternoon's though and they boot you off. Rick G.

so whats the Hot Bite?? I was there Sat. and yesterday (tue) prefishing for a club trny next weekend and your RIGHT the worm bite is Bad. Its been 6 months sence I have been on that lake and not to sure what to do

You guys keep fishing for those stripers and enjoy the fishery that's down there cause it's a special one and it's only going to get better and better. The stripers certainly weren't planned but if you keep catching them it'll keep the numbers down and it won't hurt the black bass fishery as much as one might think. We've got waters up here, Like Lake Del Valle, that have monster sized fished of both species.

Look at it as an unexpected bonus and go target those linesides, there a blast to catch and eat!!!!

TOPWATER...first thing then it gets tough..im still getting worm fish to 5lbs but the worm bite has slowed down. You can get a quick good limit in the morning on topwater if you do your homework.

Well Rick I just got back from your store ( I had to go to shimano to drop off 2 rods) and when I was in there getting some Fat Ika's I heard alittle talk about the Bite and Its 1 That I don't do at all. So I guess I'll pass on the Guide, But thanks for the Idea
