Champion fish ski owners.....

Post by fishbonz412 »

For those who have one....

so how big is that front deck? I looked at a smaller boat (19 foot maybe) and the front deck does not look that big compared to the Tritons or Rangers..... Many say it is bigger and better for those of us who fish but need space for the family. What's the real scoop?

Anyone have the 21 footer? can you lay a 7 foot rod over the the port locker, just like on a bass boat? (that is, without the tip sticking thorugh the walk through area) I heard that the left locker on the front deck can store the long rods. any truth to it? How stable is it when your backseater walks from one side to the other?

I also heard that Champion is not making a fish/ski anymore, then spoke to someone else that said the 2007 one is done, and they will have a new model similar to the new 21 foot STratos fish/ski. Who is in-the-know on this?

thanks in advance.

The 2007 Model Champion Fish/Ski is biult on the 206 Bassbaot hull. It has a front deck step rod locker that will take a 7 1/2 ft rod. The front deck on that boat is easily the biggest of the Fish/Ski models that we sell which are Nitro, Ranger, Stratos and Champion. I have 1 left and they do have a new fish/ski for 2008 which is built off of a Stratos Fish/Ski. It is called a 214sx. Any questions feel free to call me. 714-666-2628 Rick G.
