I just used this guy for a couple reels. He did a good job and was a quick turn around. I was very pleased with his service. He's in Vallejo. Give him a call.

That larrys repair looks great, does anybody know of anything local to my area.Besides Fishermans Warehouse they quoted me 2 weeks. I dont think I could go without my reels for 2 weeks much less 5 days.

Tony Mello does a great job, he's located in the Antioch area and has a good turn-around time. He was personally trained by Connie and Killer from Lake Fork Tackle Repair! You can search under user name Tony M. here on Western Bass. I will see if I can find some contact info for you.

when I used Larry's ,I had my reels back in less than a week. That's counting mail time to and from also. Call him up and see what his turn around time is. Maybe he can expedite if you can't be without them. Can't hurt to ask.

Tunaeater,

You can try using some Xtreme Reel + on your reels. It will do a fantastic job of cleaning and lubing them. All you have to do is open them up and spray the product on the bearings, gears and other moving parts.

Check them out at http://www.xtremelubricants.com/home.htm.
